Information about the Chania area
With fantastic views of the White Mountains, Chania is located on the most fertile side of the island. The picturesque Venetian harbour is lined with numerous bars and tavernas and is the perfect place to sample the excellent fresh fish available. There is plenty of good nightlife and the shopping is good too. The best beaches can be found to the west of Chania and Chania has plenty to offer in terms of tradional Greek island charm and character.
