Built up amphitheatrically overlooking the gulf of Elounda in a peaceful setting, it has a panoramic view of the bay & the famous Spinalonga Island. Please note that this hotel may be unsuitable for people with walking difficulties as it has a lot of steps and is up a very steep incline.
The hotel is also very quiet ,as it is high up above the road running to Elounda ,which is a very nice 20 minute walk along the seafront. along a paved promenade. There is a bus stop virtually outside the hotel with buses going to Agious Nikolas regularly during the day.

Some brief information about the resort of Elounda
Elounda is about 10km north of Aghios Nikolaos. It has an attractive coastline, beautiful harbour area and spectacular views of Spinalonga Island. Elounda became famous for the setting of the film 'Who Pays the Ferryman'. The resort has retained all of it's original Cretan charm and remains a tranquil spot in both early and late season, however in the height of the summer Elounda becomes a bit livlier.
