The Akrotiri Beach Hotel is looking a bit dated now and could do with a refurb but the hotel has friendly staff and is well run and clean. Overall I would rate this hotel as a 3 star, but the official rating is 4 star.
The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is magnificent and I think all rooms have a sea view which really is superb. Breakfast at the hotel is quite good, but for our evening meal we went to several local tavernas including Spiros where they have a large selection of traditional Greek food and friendly staff.
Luckily, I managed to get a good price on this hotel so I was very satisfied. If I had paid much more I would have been unhappy
